Dr. Jenny is a native Austinite with over 20 years of experience in the medical field and has worked in a variety of pediatric settings her entire career. She attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, where she played collegiate soccer and earned her B.A. in Kinesiology. During this time, she became increasingly interested in holistic health and nutrition and whole body healing. After graduating from SU in 2000, her love of helping others with a holistic approach drew her to attending The Lauderstein-Conway Massage School in Austin where she received over 550 hours of hands-on training. She practiced as a Massage Therapist before heading to Physical Therapy school at UTMB in Galveston. Dr. Jenny earned her Master of Physical Therapy from UTMB in 2005 followed by a Pediatric Fellowship in 2006, and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UTMB in 2014 as well. She moved to Denver, CO, to pursue life in the snow where she met her husband, Erik. Shortly after their first daughter was born, they returned to Austin to be closer to family. She and her husband have 3 daughters and a puppy.

 

The majority of Dr. Jenny's work has been focused on working with infants and children from birth to age 21 with diagnoses including Developmental Delay, Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, neuro and orthopedic conditions, equipment assessments, and much more. She thrives in getting to know her patients and creating the best plan of action for them and their family. Her motto is never say never because anything is possible! Her passion is helping to create the healthiest path for growth at the start of life by empowering parents with confidence and knowledge. Her own experience with raising her 3 daughters has allowed her knowledge to expand beyond just a physical therapist. She can relate to all the emotions associated with pre and post natal care, post vaginal and C-section births, nursing and feeding experiences, and all the triumphs and struggles in between. She understands and finds joy in helping you succeed with all of your baby's developmental milestones. Dr. Jenny will guide you through every step of the way and help you discover all your baby has to offer this world!
